| Bio: | Character: Opal Koboi Series/Fandom: Artemis Fowl Original or Alternate: Original Age: In the hundreds, so she'd say. Gender: Female Species: Pixie Sexuality: Heterosexual but bordering on asexual Appearance: The main noticeable fact about the pixie is her size, being only about the same size as a child, that being around three feet or so. As well as her height her ears also do not match a human's, being pointed as is a good indication of her People lineage. As far as the rest of her appearance goes she possesses long black hair of which reaches the lower part of her back and the dark brown eyes that rarely seem to show any emotion besides bits of malice and sadistic glee. Clothing style tends to vary but she's typically seen in more "higher class" clothing types of the People's culture, that being a more futuristic-type of cloth and patterns usually in a one piece type of style. Personality: As most of the People would have said about her she's a genius, a sure-fire genius, if not eccentric. In the public view she tends to put on a fairly intimidating yet household name appearance, of which earned her a place as one of the more successful business People. Though the line between genius and insanity is often blurred Opal is certainly no different. She has megalomaniac tendencies and often considers herself to be between than every other person. Though with her most recent "adventures" she has slid more into the insanity side of things, becoming vastly paranoid and thinking that she's so beautiful she deserves her own currency. Also she tends to make up absurd rules for her underlings to follow, one such being that they can not look directly at her as it's bad for her skin. Not only that she seems to have an unhealthy fascination towards chocolate truffles and the destruction of ones Holly Short, Artemis Fowl, and Artemis's bodyguard Butler. Abilities/Strengths: Being a genius with an IQ of three-hundred Opal is able to process some of the most advanced information one can throw at her, including technology and some machinery. She can also speak the native tongue of the People, gnomish, and speak the human languages as well. She also possesses the Mesmer of which can control and persuade weak-willed humans to do her biddings. Weapons: None Weaknesses: Due to her slide into insanity Opal's easily persuaded into most things if one can tie the persuasion to something that deals with her beauty or deals with Foaly trying to one-up her. She also has an unhealthy fixation to chocolate, particularly chocolate truffles, and will do most anything to obtain the treats. She also tends to obsess over things if they are something that will get in her way to such a point that she will do nothing else but that. History: Opal was born in the society of the People under the Earth's crust like most other pixies, nothing appeared to be special abotu her at the time. However once she was able to talk (and it was fairly soon at that) she was pegged as an intelligent pixie to which she was proven to have an insanely high IQ count for her age. She went to classes and everything such as the other pixies, earning her top marks and making her at the top of her class. Once she got out of schooling she went into business and by using her management skills and her abilities to create high-tech technology she was contracted by the LEP (Lower Elements Police) to make their weapons for them. Of which she had no problem with. However she began to dislike the LEP when she heard about the doings of Julius Root and Holly Short and began to sabotage the weapons to where she can make it to where they were not effective anymore. With the help of another LEP officer Briar Cudgeon and the B'wa Kell goblins she attempted to overthrow Haven (the People's city center) of which failed by the thwarting of Root, Short, and Artemis Fowl. She had put herself in a "supposed" coma as to rethink of what she had done. With the help of the Brill brothers she was able to escape from the hospital she was at by replacing herself with a clone just perfect enough to be able to have primary body functions and nothing else. And with that she began her plots to destroy those who had thwarted her before. Opal had managed to kill Commander Root, though she had failed to kill Holly Short, Artemis Fowl, and Butler as her plans had backfired on her. And with Artemis Fowl having tricked her by setting off a bomb in the ship (he said there were truffles there) she was effectively thwarted in her plan to expose Haven to the humans. Though afterwards she escaped up to the surface and used her Mesmer to continue the illusion on Giovanni Zito (a Sicilian environmentalist) that she was his daughter.
